About Us
Dennis D. Jacobs is an award-winning journalist whose
work has appeared in scores of newspapers and
magazines, including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, St.
Louis Life, The Des Moines Register, and the Cedar
Rapids Gazette. "More or Less Loess" is his first book.
Dennis was born in Waterloo, Iowa and graduated from
Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He also has lived in
Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois. He now lives in the
Chicago area with his son, Nathan, and Nathan's mom,
Julie. He also has two grown daughters, Dani and
Nicole, who live in Iowa.
Dennis would like to thank his family. Their continuing
support has made this project possible.
Nathan Jacobs is a sixth-grade student. He loves
animals and hopes to become a wildlife conservationist.
His other hobbies include computer games, Pokemon,
and chess. He is an honor-roll student and he hopes you
will buy his dad's book so he can go to college someday.
Nathan would like to thank his dog, Patches, for being a
good puppy most of the time.
